Welcome to 2012 Individual Open Enrollment


This page will help to guide you through the process of the annual renewal of your health insurance plan.

As your full-service, One-Stop Shop, we remain available to assist you by phone, however, during Open Enrollment, the call volume is such that you may experience more than the normal waiting time. Therefore, we’ve developed additional service features as outlined below.  We are also available by online live chat. Check back for updates!


How does the renewal process work?

When will renewal rates be available?
  • Renewal rates will be available online before the end of June.
  • Renewals will be mailed to clients on before the end of June.  

How do I gain online access to my account?
  • Clients: click here for instructions on logging in, and accessing our self-service features
  • Brokers: click here for instructions on logging in, and accessing our self-service features

What is in the Renewal Packet?
  •  A Renewal Rate Sheet with your current plan and all of the plans and rates available within the same carrier.
  •  Plan Change Form
    Use this sheet if you wish to change your plan, or submit plan change online. (See Quick Guide)

Did you know? By logging in to your account at www.hsainsurance.com, you can:
  • View your 2012 Renewal Rates
  • Change plans within the same carrier (no new enrollment forms necessary).
  • Quote a different carrier (and find the enrollment forms you’ll need)
  • Pay Your Bill at no extra charge

Thinking about changing carriers? Some things to consider:

  • Do your current medical providers accept the new plan? You can check the online directories for all of our carriers here.
  • If you do decide to change carriers, please allow several weeks for applications to be processed. With the majority of our membership renewing within the same timeframe, we must allow for extra time to process applications.
  • It will take several weeks after applications are processed to receive ID cards for new plans.

                              For August 1st effective date, deadline for applications is July 25th.
                              For September 1st effective date, deadline for applications is August 15th.
